- ATM cards were distributed to beneficiaries at an official ceremony in Coimbatore.
- A total of 50,648 women were found eligible for benefits in the second phase after field verification.
- Each eligible woman will receive ₹1,000 per month through direct bank transfer.
- With both phases combined, Coimbatore district has 4,76,353 beneficiaries under the scheme.
- The total annual expenditure for both phases in the district is ₹571,62,36,000.
