- The Government has constituted a Logistics Development Committee under Dr Bibek Debroy, Chairman, EAC-PM.
- It was constituted by the EAC-PM (Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister).
- The committee would be working on challenges in the logistics development and suggest policy reforms for the ease of doing trade in the country.
