- Sri Lanka has received the first consignment of non-harmful Nano Nitrogen liquid fertiliser from India.
- India sent 3.1 million litres of high-quality non-harmful Nano Nitrogen liquid fertiliser.
- The fertilizer will help Sri Lanka in the cultivation of maize and paddy.
- The Nano Nitrogen Liquid Fertilizer was developed by Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited.
- It has been developed indigenously, for the first time in the world.
