- Minister of State (MoS) for Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Goel has recently inaugurated the Online Assurances Monitoring System (OAMS).
- This was developed by Union Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
- Its objective is to create transparency in assurance process in Parliamentary affairs.
- This system has made the information regarding assurances given on the floor of the Houses of Parliament paperless and available in digital format.
- Through this, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs through e-Office will give out the assurances to the concerned ministries.
