Passenger cruise vessel to Sri Lanka

The first regular international cruise passenger vessel mv Empress was launched from Chennai Port that will connect three ports on Sri Lanka.
The MV Empress will visit three ports in Sri Lanka before returning to Chennai: Hanbantota, Trincomalee, and Kankesanturei.
There are also plans to look into additional ferry routes through India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Myanmar.
