- State broadcaster Prasar Barti has announced two new awards - Neelum Sharma Tejaswini award and Achyutananda Sahoo Award.
- Former Prasar Barti employee Neelum Sharma had also been awarded the 2018 “Nari Shakti Puraskar (NSP)” for her women centric programs.
- NSP is India's highest civilian award for recognising the achievements and contributions of women.
