President lays foundation stone for Link-4 of SAUNI scheme

President Ramnath Kovind laid the foundation stone of the second phase of link-4 pipeline canal of Saurashtra Narmada Avataran Irrigation (SAUNI) Scheme in Rajkot district of Gujarat. SAUNI Project Saurashtra Narmada Avtaran Irrigation(SAUNI) is a project with objective of filling 115 major dams by diverting floodwaters overflowing from the Sardar Sarovar Dam across the Narmada river to the drought areas of Saruashtra region of Gujarat.
