- The rooftop solar installations in India registered a 34.7% year-on-year (YoY) jump.
- India added 907 MW of open access solar capacity in Q3 2023.
- It was in the third quarter (Q3- July-September) of calendar year (CY) 2023.
- Maharashtra (26.5%) added the most capacity.
- It is followed by Karnataka (20.3%) and Tamilnadu (19.5%).
- As of September 2023, India’s total open access solar capacity reached 11 GW.
- Karnataka accounts for 33.3% of the cumulative capacity
- Maharashtra (14.1%) and Tamilnadu (10.3%) followed in the total installed open access solar capacity.
