- Bangladesh Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, has been conferred with the “SDG Progress Award”.
- Award was conferred by the UN-sponsored Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
- She was awarded for Bangladesh’s steady course in responding to the universal call of action to end poverty, protect the planet as well as ensure peace & prosperity for all.
Note
- Ninth Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development was held on September 20.
- On this occasion, Sheikh Hasina was introduced as jewel in the crown of the day.
