- The Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) Australian import Shane Watson announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
- He was in the National Team of Australia which won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007 and 2015.
- In IPL, Watson has represented Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and CSK.
