The report reviews the state of press freedom in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives.
250+ media rights violations were recorded; 69 journalists are jailed/detained, 20 were killed in the line of duty.
Pakistan saw its most violent year for journalists in two decades.
