- Double Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar was picked for a whopping Rs 55 lakh by the Delhi Sultans during the Pro Wrestling League auctions in New Delhi.
- Sushil earned the highest bid is now the most expensive player in the history of the tournament.
- Among the women, the highest bid came for World Championship gold medallist Helen Maroulis (Under-57kg category) of the United States, who was bought for Rs 44 lakh from Haryana Hammers.
- The upcoming season of the PWL will be its third edition. The first edition was won by Revanta Mumbai Garuda and the second season by scooped by NCR Punjab Royals.
- In both the editions, Haryana Hammers reached the final but failed to get over the line.
