- The Madras High Court Judge Kirubakaran has been appointed into the Tamilnadu state legal services authority.
- Article 39-A of our Constitution enjoins the State to provide free legal aid to the citizen on account of poverty or other disabilities.
- The Legal Services Act 1987 is basically aimed to provide free and competent legal Services to the weaker sections of the society.
