- India achieved 92% rifampicin testing coverage, strengthening early detection of drug-resistant TB.
- The global average for this testing is 83%.
- Screening under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan identified 24.5 lakh TB patients, including 8.61 lakh asymptomatic cases.
- This was done after screening 19 crore vulnerable individuals.
