- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address on November 19, 2021 announced that, the central government will repeal all the three farm laws.
- These laws will be repealed in the 2021 Winter Session of Parliament.
- The three laws that let to agitation by farmers across India are
- Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020
- Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020
- Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020.
