Indian Railways has approved India’s first indigenous 10-coach Hydrogen Fuel Cell-based train on the Jind–Sonipat route in Haryana, developed by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO).
The train runs on hydrogen fuel cells and serves as a zero-emission alternative to diesel trains, producing only water vapour and heat as by-products.
