- The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) issued its first compliance certificate for a 15-metre multi-axle sleeper bus.

- The government restricted the manufacturing, sale and distribution of fixed-dose combinations (FDCs) containing Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride for children below four years.
- These combinations may pose health risks to young children, and the government stated that safer alternatives are available.
