- The Prime Minister of India laid the foundation of India’s first Skill Development University, Sri Vishwakarma Skill Development University in Palwal district of Haryana.
- The Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has released a book named ‘Radio Kashmir – In Times of Peace & War’ written by Dr Rajesh Bhat in New Delhi.
- The book has been published by Stellar Publishers.
- The Maldives cabinet has approved to re-join the Commonwealth, two years after withdrawing from the 53-nation grouping. The proposal will be sent to Parliament for ratification.
