- 2-day Meeting of Expert Working Group on Paris Pact Initiative on Illicit Financial Flows deriving from the trafficking of Opiates originating in Afghanistan was held in New Delhi.
- In the 134th session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Italy’s Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo won the right to host the 2026 Winter Olympics.
- It will be the third Winter Games in Italy, after Turin (2006) and Ski Resort Cortina hosted it in 1956.
