Transpersons self-employment assistance

Over 800 transpersons have benefitted from the self-employment assistance extended to them since 2021.
The Self-employment assistance up to a sum of ₹50,000 has been provided by allocating ₹1 crore every year through the Transgender Welfare Board.
The State government also enhanced the monthly pension for transpersons from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500.
