Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) in Assam now has 148 tigers, with a density of 18.65 tigers per 100 sq km, making it the third-highest globally.
The updated tiger count was published in the Status of Tigers in Kaziranga, 2024 report.
In the tiger density rankings, Kaziranga is followed by Bandipur in Karnataka (19.83) and Corbett in Uttarakhand (19.56).
