- The union government is planning skill development training for two crore women under the 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme.
- It aims to encourage them to start micro-enterprises.
- Skill development training is given to women through Self Help Groups (SHGs).
- It will enable them to earn at least Rs 1 lakh annually.
