  • Twenty-six countries have pledged postwar security guarantees to Ukraine, covering support on land, sea, and in the air.
  • French President Emmanuel Macron announced the pledge after a summit in Paris with leaders from 35 countries supporting Ukraine.
  • The guarantees are to be implemented immediately after the war ends, aimed at preventing future Russian aggression.
  • The United States is finalizing its contribution to the guarantees following discussions with European leaders and President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
  • France and the United Kingdom indicated willingness to deploy troops postwar, while countries like Italy and Bulgaria offered non-combat support.
