- The 11th Asian Air Gun championship was held at Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex at Kuwait City, in Kuwait.
- India’s junior shooters won a total of 11 medals which includes 4 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.
- Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary won the 10 metre Air Pistol Mixed Team gold.
- They shattered the junior world record with a score of 485.4 points.
- Elavenil Valarivan & Hriday Hazarika – Gold (10m rifle mixed team junior).
- Saurabh Chaudhary – Gold (10m Air Pistol men’s junior).
- Saurabh Chaudhary, Arjun Singh Cheema & Anmol Jain – Gold (10m Air Pistol team junior).
