	- It is being developed by Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL).
 
	- It is set to connect Katra and Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
 
	- It is a part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.
 
	- The above project also involves the Chenab river bridge.
