  • The specimen was found at Choolannur Peafowl Sanctuary in Palakkad district, Kerala.
  • This moth belongs to the Noctuidae family and was previously known only from Northeast India.
  • Detailed analysis identified it as the subspecies Antitrisuloides catocalina cyclica.
