- The 2-day Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2018 was concluded recently in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
- It was hosted by the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Peter O’Neill.
- All the 21-member countries of APEC participated in the Summit.
- It is the 1st such summit in its 25-year history which failed to agree on a formal joint statement.
