- Uttar Pradesh has sanctioned setting up a bioplastic park.
- The park will be developed over an area of 1,000 hectares in Kumbhi village, Gola Gokarannath tehsil, Lakhimpur Kheri district.
- Bioplastic, also known as natural plastic, is a type of plastic made from natural materials such as corn, sunflower, or sugar beet.
