- Comet SWAN will not return to the solar system for about 20,000 years, while Comet Lemmon’s next appearance will be in 3175.
- Comet Lemmon is currently brighter, with a magnitude of 4.5.
- Lemmon appears in the northwest near the Bootes constellation, while SWAN is visible above the Sagittarius constellation in the southern sky.
