- Russia has launched an unmanned rocket carrying life-sized robot to the International Space Station (ISS) from Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
- The robot is named Fedor (Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research).
- It is the first ever robot sent into space by Russia.
