- Centenarian freedom fighter who had witnessed the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, Sudhakar Krishna Rao died at the age of 122.
- Several reports claimed that Gandhi fondly called him as “Karnataki”.
- He is also known as Pandit Sudhakar “Chaturvedi”.
