- NITI Aayog’s Frontier Tech Hub released the fourth edition of its Future Front Quarterly Insights series on two-dimensional (2D) materials.
- The report was developed in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
- Two-dimensional materials are 200 times stronger than steel and conduct electricity more efficiently than copper.
- These materials are about 1/80,000th the width of a human hair.
