- India has slipped two places to 53rd Position in the Global Annual talent ranking released by the renowned IMD Business School, Switzerland.
- India has been ranked at 51st Position in the year 2017.
- Switzerland retained the top Position for the fifth consecutive year.
- Denmark attained the 2nd rank followed by Norway, Austria and the Netherlands.
- Canada, which ranked at 6th, is the only non-European nation in the top-ten rankings.
- Singapore also topped the Asia region with 13th Rank while China is ranked at 39th.
- The rankings are based on three factors: Investment and Development, Appeal, and Readiness.
