- Jeakson Singh Thounaojam became India's first World Cup goal scorer by scoring a goal in the second FIFA Under-17 World Cup match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at New Delhi.
- The goal was recorded in the match against Colombia during 82nd minute of the game. India lost the game with 1-2 score.
- Jeakson Singh hails from Manipur.
