- The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is to setup India’s first government promoted Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT).
- It will be under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 and Securities and Exchange Board of India Regulations.
- It is to facilitate investment in the highway sector.
