The Madhya Pradesh cabinet has approved the Mukhyamantri Vrindavan Gram Yojana to promote self-reliant rural development.
One village from each of the assembly constituencies, with a minimum population of 2,000 and at least 500 cattle, will be selected under the scheme.
These villages will be developed as Vrindavan Grams, serving as models of self-sufficiency and holistic development.
The Focus areas include cow rearing, dairy development, organic farming, solar energy, water conservation, high pasture growth, environmental protection, rural entrepreneurship, and infrastructure improvement.
