- Under the new initiative, students will receive specialised training in communication skills and digital skills, which are essential in modern hospital environments.
- The program aims to help students interact effectively with doctors and patients, and also enhance opportunities abroad, as Tamil Nadu is a major medical tourism hub.
- TNSDC also launched TN Skill Registry, a free portal where trained students can upload profiles; registered employers can view them and contact candidates with their consent.
