- The 20th National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) meeting held at Arunachal Pradesh is chaired by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav.
- It was held in Pakke tiger reserve in Arunachal Pradesh.
- The first-ever NTCA meeting was held in Arunachal Pradesh, outside of the National Capital.
- The NTCA has released a Forest Fire Audit Protocol for Tiger Reserves.
- This will assist tiger reserve managers in assessing their fire preparation and managing forest fires throughout their whole life cycle.
