- The workshop was organised by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with the
- United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF)
- United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
- United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR)
- The main aim of the two-day workshop was to develop a uniform and credible national-level disaster database.
- The database would help track the progress made towards achieving the targets of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR).
