  • The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has approved the implementation of Sashakt Mahila Yojna in the State.
  • It aims to empower the rural women by providing them an interface for organization and socio-economic development.
  • It also decided to implement the Himachal Healthcare Scheme (HIMCARE) in the state, where a cashless treatment coverage of Rs 5 lakh per year per family.
