- The Indian Army recently activated a satellite-based Internet service on the Siachen Glacier, Ladakh.
- It was activated on the Siachen Glacier at 19,061 feet, the World's Highest Battlefield.
- It has been provided by the Broadband Network Limited (BBNL).
