- She defeated Kazakhstan's Aigerim Kassanayeva to pick up India's lone senior category gold at the event.
- While Jyoti Gulia out-classed Poland’s Tatiana Pluta and picked up the country’s lone gold in 51 kg of the youth category.
- Former world champion Sarita Devi, however, signed off with a bronze medal in the senior category.
