- TANGEDCO has absorbed 43.2 million units (Mu) of solar power into the grid, marking the highest ever so far.
- Solar power generation has peaked at 5,648 megawatts (MW).
- The all-time high peak generation of 5,979 MW was recorded on August 9.
- Tamil Nadu has an installed capacity of 8,574 MW of solar power, with 1,462 MW connected to the grid in 2023-24.
- It is including 200 MW of rooftop solar systems.
