West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee appeared in the Supreme Court regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Mamata Banerjee became the first sitting Chief Minister in India to appear personally before the Supreme Court to argue her own case.
She sought permission from the Court to present arguments in person on a petition challenging the voter-list revision process conducted by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
