- The Andhra Pradesh government, has started a new welfare scheme called ‘Talliki Vandanam’.
- Under this scheme, every student’s mother or guardian will get Rs 15,000 every year.
- Every student studying in Classes 1 to 12 will be covered under this scheme.
- The government is calling this the “mother of all welfare schemes”.
