- Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created the “World’s Biggest Apple and Sand Installation of Santa Claus” at Niladri Beach, Puri, Odisha, using 1.5 tonnes of apples and sand.
- The sculpture was officially recognised by the World Records Book of India.
